Sarah Can Help!
Meeting Sarah for the First Time
Your first meeting with Sarah can take place at your home (if you're within her travel range), or at her office in Katonah, NY. Feel free to email Sarah's office, and schedule a time to meet with her.
Puppy Consultation We know you love your puppy, but are you feeling a little overwhelmed? An admitted puppy fanatic (just read her books 'You and Your Puppy'
and 'Puppies for Dummies'), Sarah can help to simplify your life. After assessing your pup's personality, she'll lead you through the process of structuring your home, creating a safe learning
environment for early training, and addressing all those annoying puppy behaviors such as nipping, housetraining, jumping up, chewing, etc. Write down your questions before she arrives - she won't
leave a biscuit unturned!
Obedience Lesson Do you have a super dog or puppy that needs to learn or simply brush-up on basic obedience commands?
If you need a coach to teach, motivate and direct you without harming your dog's spirit, Sarah would love to help build a program based on what you've already taught your dog. Sarah will also help you keep your dog's attention around potential distractions.

Many of Sarah's clients say that you can set your clock by Sarah's arrival time. If she's running more than 10 minutes late she will call to let you know.

Problem Behavior Improvement If living with a dog that doesn't share your ideas about good behavior is stressing you out, let Sarah help. Whether the frustration stems from issues
regarding housetraining, chewing, jumping, nipping, barking, digging, excessive submission/fear, or aggression (see Aggression Rehabilitation below), this first session provides insights into the
problem and a road map to follow to help resolve the issue. For many clients this one session proves to be enough, however follow-ups are available if further intervention asobedience lesson as needed.
Aggression Rehabilitation Aggression is a very serious and often tricky issue. Each dog is unique; the roots of aggression interwoven in their innate personality and external factors in
their environment. Working with individuals or families, Sarah examines a dog's situation, outlining triggers and potential severity. She teaches techniques to manage and minimize the negative
behaviors. In most cases, a follow-up session or sessions are recommended.

Sarah is often sent into homes by a referring veterinarian to see if a client's dog can be helped. She will never give false hope in such situations.
